Young Adults

Our Goal

Summit Young Adults focuses on people ages 18-30 helping them follow Jesus together. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, are coming back after some time away, or are just curious about faith, you are welcome here.

What to Expect

A welcoming environment, real community, honest conversations, and biblical encouragement as we learn to follow Jesus together.
Come as you are. There is a place for you here.

weekly Meetups

Tuesdays 7pm

Thursdays 6pm

YA Service

Every Tuesday night, we gather for a relaxed and meaningful night together. You can expect worship, Bible study, small groups, food, and time to hang out.
Our goal is simple: to create a space where young adults can know Jesus, be known by others, and grow in real community.
YA Connect Group • Launches August 20th

On Thursday nights, we also gather in a smaller group setting for deeper conversation, prayer, and community.
Our Connect Group is a great place to build friendships, ask honest questions, study Scripture together, and walk through life with other young adults.

Upcoming:

Meet the team.

Patrick Conant

Y.A. Intern
Patrick is a student at Boise Bible College with a heart for ministry and a desire to serve the church vocationally in the future. When he’s not studying or serving, he’s usually following sports—especially NASCAR, where he’s a big Jesse Love fan. Patrick brings a love for people, ministry, and competition into just about everything he does.

Carsen Gafford

Thursday Connect Group Leader
Carsen is a student at Boise State University and a programmer who loves turning ideas into things that actually work. He’s built his own arcade machine, created a programmer-focused social media platform, and even built Scrotch.org to help others learn how to code. When he’s not working on his latest project, Carsen generously volunteers his skills at Summit through our AVL team, website, and Thursday Night Rooted Connect Group. He loves creating, problem-solving, and using what he knows to serve others.

Craig Helmick

Y.A. Coordinator
Craig serves as the Communications Director at Summit Church and has a deep passion for discipleship, ministry, and helping people take meaningful next steps with Jesus. He helps lead Summit Young Adults and loves teaching, developing young leaders, and creating spaces where people can build real community. Outside of ministry, Craig enjoys music production, audio and technology, paddleboarding, board games, and probably spending way too much time dreaming up the next thing to build or try.
