what to expect

Attending church for the first time can be an intimidating experience — especially if you don’t know what to expect. Who am I going to see? What traditions am I going to be surprised by? Will I be asked to do something that makes me uncomfortable? We hope you will find that the central feature at Summit Church is the person of Jesus Christ. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. Here, you can engage with others and learn at a pace that is comfortable for you. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.

getting here

We are located at 10375 W Overland Rd in Boise.

coffee?

Yes, absolutely! You'll see our coffee station near the main entrance when you arrive. We also typically have an assortment of light refreshments provided by volunteers.

What is the worship service like?

A typical service will last 60-75 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. Feel free to watch a replay of a recent worship service to get a better idea of what to expect.

What about kids?

We currently offer children's programming during our 11 a.m. service. Nursery and Pre-K classes meet for the entire service. Elementary age kids and youth start in the worship center and are dismissed mid-service.

where can I learn more?

Summit Church offers a "welcome lunch" to get to know the pastors after the 11 a.m. service about once per month. An RSVP is highly recommended to make sure we have enough food. You can RSVP through our contact page.
