Our Staff

Brian grew up in the north side of Boise and is glad that he still gets to live here. He received a BS in Interpersonal Communications with a Math Minor from the University of Idaho in 1987 and a MA in Biblical Studies and Ministry from the Cole Center for Biblical Studies in 1991. He has served on the staff of Summit Church since October 1991. He's been married to his wife Angela since 1989 and together they have two children, Isabella and Benjamin.

Ryan Keen left California for Idaho in search of a better life. And Idaho is where he met his wife, Rachel. Ryan is passionate about the Bible and believes we don’t just learn from it, but that it has authority over us and the power to transform our lives. As the Associate Pastor, Ryan primarily serves our family and children’s ministry teams.  He is also involved in family ministry. Ryan holds a BA in Christian Education Ministries with a minor in Biblical Studies from Biola University and a Master of Divinity from Talbot. 

Trent is the newest addition to our team. He is married to his wife Lauren, and together they have three kids. He's been involved in Youth Ministry roles from volunteer to Pastor for over a decade. He is passionate about Gospel-ministry, especially with students. His mission and aim in life is to see Christ magnified among the nations, beginning with students in Boise. His life verse is Philippians 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University and an M.A. in New Testament from Talbot School of Theology. When he’s not working in a ministry context, you can find him reading, writing, running, hiking, or soaking up time with his energetic kids and drinking coffee.

Michael Pease grew up in the Boise area and has served at multiple churches in the valley. He is married to his wife Lindsey and they have a daughter. He is passionate about music, and using it to bring glory to Jesus Christ. He has volunteered on worship teams for the last 18 years, and spent two years as a Youth Ministry Intern and Pastoral Resident at his previous church. Besides music he enjoys college football, cooking, trips to the Oregon coast, and time with family.
