Pastor Ryan's Christmas playlists
Listen to the Christmas music Ryan listens to. "A Mostly Vintage Christmas" is filled with carols and old favorites surrounding the birth of Jesus.
"Songs for the Newborn King" features many of the same traditional carols, plus other songs, but in the indie music genre. As the name implies, they all follow the theme of the birth of Jesus.

Here's what you do. Get yourself a non-breakable kids' nativity set. For the one linked here, keep some animals in it. Take Mary, Joseph, and, if you want a donkey, and have them travel around your house. Each day the kids wake up and search for Mary and Joseph, like they would Elf on the Shelf. Christmas Eve, after the kids go to bed, fill the nativity set. When the kids find Mary and Joseph, they'll see Jesus and the angel, and you can go over the whole story, as if it happened while they were sleeping.
Get a chocolate Jesus themed advent calendar. It's such an easy layup. Nothing will make your kids more excited that Jesus is about to be born than feeding them chocolate. Don't be a scrooge, buy a separate calendar for each kid.
