A Note From Ross HoskinG
Day 3 first items: Prayer over players - I would like all of us to pray over the kids
Day 3 games by age group
Oldest: 6:00 - 6:35
1. Clean up your room - put a bunch of beanbags, balls, other soft items in the middle section of the field. When we say go, throw as many items on the opposite team's side as you can. When the game ends, whoever has the fewest items has the cleanest room and you win! Note: we will need to have a good count of the items so that we are consistent. Any items thrown past the other team's area will be counted against the opposing team's total.
2. Water balloon relay - spread out in lines of 4 per team, toss water balloons to each other and try to be the first to make it all the way to the end zone! Note: wait for the round to finish before handing out new balloons.
3. Water balloon baseball - 1 team, each player gets a chance to throw at human targets, each representing a base hit, double, triple, or home run. They choose which to throw at and then take a base if they are successful. See how many runs you can score! Note: can also add an infield-fly or You're out target. The target people can switch their signs and turn around so that the kids don't know which target is which. Target people can also move closer to make it easier or move farther back for bigger throwers. Will need to mark out baseball-style bases for the field.
Youngest: 6:35 - 7:10
1. Plushy ball stomp relay - outdoors, 4 teams, using the stomp levers, with a plush ball, stomp and catch and then run to the bucket, place ball in bucket (one of the smaller buckets we've been using). First team to fill the bucket wins - Note: we should not let these balls get wet
